Title: IGT AVP Storage Authentication Failed
Post by: Incite Panic on September 29, 2011, 03:16:30 PM
Good day all:

I have an AVP coming up with a "Storage Authentication Failed" error. It then tries again in ten seconds, and over again. I can't directly work on the game as it is on a cruise ship. I'm thinking it may be the hard drive.
      My questions are as follows.
      1. Can the BIOS be entered on an AVP, if so how do you get in?
      2. Has anyone else encountered this error, and have a solution?
      3. Other than cloning another hard drive, What is the best way to image a new hard drive for an AVP?

     Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance, and kind regards:

Hello again:

I think I'll order some IDE drives while I can still get them. I know I have to image the drive, then run the diagnostic set up. This would be a good place for some clear directions for setting up a hard drive for a trimline AVP. This will take a few days for me, since I haven't ordered some drives yet, but when I set them up, I'll try to keep y'all up to date in case you run into this on your AVP's too.

Kind regards:
