Title: Possible solution with Universal Ultra mpu and back plane Post by: gposing on September 30, 2011, 12:24:48 AM Thanks again for all the help getting my Slot up and running. So far so good the mpu and backplane have been playing nice together. One thing I found when re-installing the back plane was to leave the 4 mounting screws loose so the back plane can move up and down just a little bit. Press the mpu board into place and wiggle it just a little up and down to make sure it is seated. Then tighten the 4 back plane mounting screws. It seems that the two boards line up better and the MPU seats in better. I hope this might help someone else in the future.

Nice machine! Wild Orchids is a hard one to find. It's a buy-a-pay three coin game with nudge feature. Thanks for posting a pic! I think it is a good first machine to work on. The tests are so easy to run, no chip to install for resets. I ended up giving the machine to my mother-in-law for her 70th birthday. She loves it! One more thing, I am having issues with the dbv145. think it is the head. If I can't get it working do you have one you might want to sell? if so how much?
