Title: Converting JCM DBV-45 to accept new bills
Post by: douway on October 02, 2011, 01:11:37 PM
I recently bought 3 slant top IGT slot machines that all have the DBV-45-ss-6031 bill acceptors. What is the best way to upgrade to accept all the new US bills? Two of the validators are marked  +COLOR $20 UPDATED CW" but I can't get them to accept any of the new $20s at all. They are also all missing the coin hoppers as well. They came out of a gameroom here in Texas. I'd really like to convert them back to accept coins and pay out coins too. I'm new to messing with slot machines. The guy that sold them to me put a $5 bill in the machines to show me that the bill acceptors work but now I realize that he probably used an old style bill. Live and learn! Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated!
