Title: Display Buffer Board ? Post by: litterbox99 on October 13, 2011, 12:03:00 AM We've been working on a few different E1000 slots.
We bought them unknown... Some of them have a "Display Buffer Board" and some do not. My E2000 doesn't have this piggyback board. It's a small card that plugs in to the MPU where the 'Display' goes. What is it's function ? and how do I know if it's needed ? We have a few MPU boards that don't boot (IE: no display) so we are wondering if we need this board. Title: Re: Display Buffer Board ? Post by: Amachanic on October 13, 2011, 01:06:12 AM I'm not sure what that boards for, but Barry Fox at Foxsslsots should be able to answer that one.. I think that you can only use an MPU from an E1000 in the same machine, and that one from a E2000 will not work in an E1000 machine.. I know that the displays are different on an E1000 then on a E2000 too...
