Title: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: eon on October 13, 2011, 06:49:38 PM hello
I am trying to backup some MK6 M27V322 eproms with a new Wellon VP-490 programmer but when I compare the backup and eprom they don’t match. Do I need to do anything to get it to work correctly or is maybe the eprom programmer faulty? Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: SS308 on October 13, 2011, 10:26:04 PM Hi Michael,
Not the same model as mine but i'm sure it will still work. hope the new toy is going well mate. Cheers, Shaun Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: eon on October 13, 2011, 10:30:43 PM Hey :)
Yep it's all good thanks. So there no need to change any of the default settings in the the programmers software to get it to work? Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: SS308 on October 13, 2011, 10:32:39 PM No should work straight away,
As per the doc we all use the VP280, being same brand I'm sure it should work for you ( instructions etc.) Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: eon on October 13, 2011, 10:38:23 PM I have a vp280 as well but couln't see the M27V322 listed on the supported eprom list so i didn't try it. I'll have to give it a go when i get home from work.

Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: eon on September 06, 2012, 03:07:21 AM The VP-280 supports 48pin. The Mk6 eeproms are 42pin
Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: pottzman on September 06, 2012, 09:24:04 AM yeah sorry my mistake. got confused with vp-290
Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: pottzman on September 06, 2012, 09:27:34 AM so seeing as how the wellon vp-280 is not sold anymore, would the vp-298 be its equivalent?
Title: Re: MK6 eprom backup problems Post by: jasongd on December 15, 2012, 05:13:18 AM The VP-390 will do the job no problems since the VP-280 is no longer made. :89-
