Title: Is there a better more basey type of speaker to install on a s2k tray?

my tray speaker duesnt sound to basey i tried another tray and got the same results.......i was wondering if there were better speakers out there that would fit in the back of a tray for a s2000 :103-

Note: Staz is referencing a thread with a mod from the old site. The mod was from JohnnyG (aka Ruden) and the harness, from idesign.

too conclude my origenal post on here id like to thank jeff {idesighn} for making me a molex connector....... :3- :3- :3- :3-

i tried it on my machine and it sounded horrible....... way way to many highs there was no base at all......and this type of machine needs base.....its def not a good sound on these particuler style  machines......... i can see why igt didnt do that on these machines........but anyway it was worth a try.........

I think one way to get the sound you want is to have the output lines from
the sound card running into a pre-amp, mixed with an equalizer to your tastes,
and the 3 speakers driven by a high-gain amplifier.

Wouldn't it be fun to have a slot sound like it's in a concert hall? :91-
I'd run a wireless transceiver system into my office chair with a speaker installed into the headrest for total surround sound.
Pretty much the same way the kids are doing it with their little sporty cars and sound systems. :89-
The ultimate mod for slot sounds with equalizer controls installed into the arm rest!

thats a great idea.......i have a bose surround sound for my tv and xbox360 and it sounds sick.......i was thinking of hooking my machines to it......
