Title: Sound Problems with 2 games on the same 2 machines Post by: slotsx2 on October 24, 2011, 05:23:41 PM I have Big Times Pay and Super Spin Sizzling Sevens, and both have sound problems. I moved the 4 reel shelf to another S2000 and the sound problem followed both games.
The Big Times Pay, when you hit something and let the machine pay if off the sound stops short before it's done. Kind of hard to explain it, but it's like the sound file is cut off short. Kinda like, DING DING DING DING DING DI........ Also when you hit Big Times Pay Bonus, it will keep saying "PRESS THE SPIN BUTTON" indefinately. It should auto spin after a minute but it doesn't. The Sizzling Seven Super Spin has a different sound problem..... Normally, every time you hit any symbol in the first reel stop position you here a ding, if you hit the second symbol, doesnt matter what symbol it is, you hear a dong, hit the third symbol, no matter what symbol you hit you hear another DANG, DING OR DONG :208-! Now, you can hit the first reel symbol and hear nothing, varies which reel stop. The next spin, you can hit the first symbol, hear a ding, then nothing for the second reel, and sometimes a sound for the 3rd reel, and sometimes not, and so on and so forth. Could it be the wiring harness? At first I thought it might be the sound amp, but the problem followed from one machine to another, that's why I'm leaning towards the harness. Any Ideas?? :103- JR I forgot to mention, the 4th reel all of a sudden is grinding and grunting like crazy, maybe not getting enough voltage maybe?? OK Title: Re: Sound Problems with 2 games on the same 2 machines Post by: brianfink on October 26, 2011, 11:53:12 PM If it was me I would try swapping out the MPU or the media lite board before I started messing with the wireing harness especialy with the other problems your having on the big times pay. Another thing you could try is switching the audio mode to mono because some wireing harnesses are not really made for true stereo. And if there is nothing interfearing with your 4th reel such as loose wireing its probly going bad.
