Title: Bally 6000 Bonus Frenzy Reels, etc Post by: hdfboy07 on October 31, 2011, 01:27:51 AM I am new to slots, but do have experience with pinball machines and other electronics. I do have the manual, ram clear chips and do have to put new batteries on 2 of the boards.
I have 3 Bally 6000 series Bonus Frenzy 4 reel slots, none of which are currently operating. 1. Can the reels be changed from one machine to another if they are all from Bally 6000 series Bonus Frenzy 4 reel slots? 2. If I am getting reel errors 41, 42, 43 or 44, I clean the optics and the wheels still keep spinning with the 41 etc error codes what is the next step? 3. Do the optics readers pop of the reel board (if so, how) or do they have to be de-soldered? 4. Does the SMI number on the reels have to match the SMI number on the board? 5. Can the MPU's be switched between games if they are all from 4 reel Bonus Frenzy? Thanks for any help.
