Title: IGT slot for $125 Post by: thomas883 on November 04, 2011, 02:00:33 PM Just saw this on Craigslist. If I knew a little bit more about fixing on of these things I would pick it up. Just thought I would share it here. http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/ele/2671426703.html
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: FORDSBS on November 04, 2011, 02:12:33 PM Offer him $75. With help on here you can get it working.
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: reho33 on November 04, 2011, 02:34:15 PM It looks like an M or S slot, not an S+ and def. not an S2000
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: knagl on November 04, 2011, 04:27:00 PM I'd guess it's an "S", but we'd need to see the inside for sure. I'm not sure that I'd go for it with the limited amount of "S" parts and knowledge around.

I had thought that S models did not have LED's in the glass? I would have guessed that it was a pre-dbv model S+. Is it easier to find parts for an S+ than an S?
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: Buzz on November 04, 2011, 06:36:49 PM I have had one S and a couple of non-inbeded S+ and I don't recall the coin head being that close to the edge. :103- :103-
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: cowboygames on November 04, 2011, 06:45:08 PM Sooo, if it's an m or s and it needs more than say, a battery, how much would it be worth parts'd out on here or on ebay? Is it a win-win or lose-lose?
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: stayouttadabunker on November 04, 2011, 09:23:01 PM I'd say win-win because there are just not many of those around!
It may take some time to gather up all the needed parts to get that baby flying smoothly again but owning a fully restored "M" machine would be like owning a Chief slot IMHO Well...maybe not quite but still a rarity nevertheless! Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: jbshocks on November 04, 2011, 10:31:29 PM Everything about looks the same as my S model. Other than the change button color.
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: a69mopar on November 05, 2011, 01:18:34 AM I would guess it at an S. It's definitely not an M slot. I attached a picture of and M slot, so the difference can be seen.
Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: FORDSBS on November 05, 2011, 01:22:30 AM thomas883, I can not believe you did not get it yet. I'd call him tonight.
like I said, offer him $75. It's worth it for parts. Ford Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: Jim on November 05, 2011, 02:15:35 AM more than likely its a S model, however they did make Intermediate machines in S+.
both pictured machines are double diamond clones. dazzling diamonnd. white diamond. if the board is in the back of the machine and has three plugs. its a S. You guys talked me into going and taking a look. The seller said that he bought the machine from someone that had it taken apart. He put it back together, but can't figure out the wiring for the hopper. I am going to check it out later today. It is a a two hour drive so I hope it is not to bad of a POS. Sounds like he is going to try and sell me an Universal slot machine when I get there. Must be an Ultra, because he said it is really big. $250?
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: thomas883 on November 05, 2011, 05:07:02 PM doing a little more research. It looks like this machine is the Dazzling Diamond machine that Millermaster1 was trying to fix back in Feb 2010."IGT Dazziling Diamonds Hopper wire help"
Title: Re: IGT slot for $125 Post by: uniman on November 05, 2011, 07:13:10 PM I see an S-slot manual(s) appeared on ebay. Suppose the seller saw this thread?
