Title: IGT bar top poker advanced menu access Post by: dwood57 on November 05, 2011, 04:35:25 AM I was given n OGT bartop video poker machine in tradefor some plumbing work and I got it working somehow by going thru the menu with the white button above the on/off switch. When I was in the menu I did something to activate a secondary menu that has a bunch of options, music currency etc, there was an option for hand pay i think... well I played a few hands and had 25 credits and hit the payout button and the screen is stuck on "call attendant hand pay"
How do I re access the secondary menu? Any help would be appreciated also are there any manuals around for this machine? Title: Re: IGT bar top poker advanced menu access Post by: Foster on November 05, 2011, 07:16:06 AM First you have to clear the hand pay by turning the Jackpot Reset key switch.
Where it is on the bar top models I cant tell from your pictures I am thinking on the front of the cabinet. you should have a double sided key which may or may not have 2341 stamped on it. It looks like a Players Edge Plus model There is button inside the machine you pressed to enter the menu (attendant switch) Title: Re: IGT bar top poker advanced menu access Post by: dwood57 on November 05, 2011, 01:13:21 PM How do I turn off the hand pay option, the hopper works but when you hit the caash out button I get the Hand Pay - Call Attendant
It has a model number DBV-45-SS-6031 that is on top of the bill changer Thanks Title: Re: IGT bar top poker advanced menu access Post by: knagl on November 05, 2011, 03:54:45 PM Welcome to the site.
You have a nice IGT Player's Edge Plus bartop video poker machine with an embedded bill validator. You cannot "turn off the handpay option" per se, but you can control how big of a win triggers a handpay. With zero credits on the machine, open the lid and press the white self test button. Keep pressing it until you get to setting screens for hopper limit and or jackpot limit and follow the directions on the screen to change the values. I'm guessing that they're set pretty low if your machine is constantly going into a jackpot lockup. Tip: don't set any value higher than 3999 our you'll be really unhappy if you hit a Royal Flush and have to cycle 4000 coins through your machine to get it to play again. |
