Title: Bally Alpha S9000 power supply units
Post by: slotsx2 on November 07, 2011, 12:04:20 AM
OK, I may have found the source of all my problems....... I KNOW someone out there has to have an answer for it. I was looking around for the source of my Bally problems and came across a problem with the power supply units..

There are 2 power supplys, this I was aware of, a 5V/12V and a 24V
The 24V has 2 fans, neither of which work, meaning the power supply isn't working I'm assuming.
Could this be the reason my reels have grunted so loudly since the first day I got the machine and also be responsible for the problems I am having now?
Also, if you turn the 5V/12V switch on slowly, you can hear a slight sizzle.....

The machine won't even boot up at this point....

ANY help is much appreciated!!!!

Can ANYONE check my power supply units?

I'm running into a fortune on this machine and about to either sell it or scrap it!!!!!

24 volt power supply and MPU power supply on the way.
Sure glad I'm made of money!  :208-
