Title: multi game software
Post by: brianfink on November 15, 2011, 02:12:04 AM
Just wondering if there was any game king multi game software available with more slot games. I'm not shur what board I have but it's a 2003 12 games enabled and i only have 2or3 slot games available. I love poker but the wife and kids dont plus having 2 multi machines with identical software kinda sucks.

IMO The multi-game software really doesn't have any good slot games. Just not enough memory space for good ones.
If I had two machines with the 3902 board I would buy I-games to load on one of them. Only one game at a time will fit.

Game King 5.0 which is the last GK game you can install on that board has a few decent slot games (SIMM Based), but if you want close to the I+ slots you will have to upgrade to the O44 platform with GK 6.x which is available for your cabinet and runs about $800 - $900.

Hope that helps

Upgrading to 6.0 is well worth it in my opinion and worth the $800 to $900 for the upgrade kit as Slotmaster pointed out.  Here are some videos of all the games on 6.0:

I agree since it's tabbed and allows for almost all of the games to be active at the same time for each denom.

Also GK 5.3P is the last version available for the 3902 but it's poker based and is limited with slots.

There is a 5.7 but I have never seen it out there or available for purchase.

5.7?  Interesting.  Perhaps a bug fix version to an earlier version?

Does the 5.0 version have the cleopatra Keno on it?  That is the one I am trying to find !

5.0 Has Cleo and Caveman Keno as ell as Slots, but No Blackjack, 5.3 has Blackjack but mostly Poker, Want a set of 5.0?

Both sets are great...just depends on what you want.  Personally, I like 5.0 better because of the variety of Poker, Keno and Slot games, although I do wish it had Blackjack.  If you're a poker nut, go for 5.3.  Unless you want to drop the coin for a 6.x setup...that's the cat's ass.

Stick with 5.0 over 5.3P as there are no slots in it.

I think the slots are better than have Black Jack and I suspect that IGT did this arrangement to sell more kits and or machines.

6.0 is the answer to having everything but it does cost a lot more then getting a set of 5.0 etc.

Thanks everyone for all the info. For some reason i'm not able to see the video of what games are available with the 6.0 software so I still would still like to know what games are actually available and how many are active at one time. And also is all I have to do is put the newer board in the machine and it will work with the older backplane.

The games are listed on IGT's website but someone might have them handy.

All games are active and you need to replace the backplane as well with the upgrade
