Typically most topics are left on the board as an archive to help people in the future who may have the same question about a repair. Topics in the "Classifieds" section for buying and selling items are routinely removed from the board as to not create clutter.
If there's a specific topic that you created and want removed for a specific reason, you can always contact a board administrator via private message. Alternately, you always have the option to edit your posts and could remove all of the text of your posts (but not the post itself) if you really, really wanted to. Title: Re: How to delete?
