Title: IGT S+ Double Blackjack Makeover...3300 error Post by: j$hort on November 28, 2011, 05:32:00 PM After feeding some coins by playing the machine I received a 3300 error? I am not sure what this is and it is the 1st time I am seeing this. Is there a way to clear this. I am pretty new at this so basic instructions would be greatly appreciated. Machine is a coin only (quarter) and previously used tokens... do I just fill up the hopper with coins?

You should be able to clear it by opening the machine, putting coins in the hopper, and fully shutting the door. It will recycle and should be back in business. Just know that it won't complete empty the hopper before giving you the hopper empty error.

Title: Re: IGT S+ Double Blackjack Makeover...3300 error Post by: crgadyk on November 28, 2011, 06:06:02 PM You would need enough to cover what is paying out or you'll have to keep filling it until it is done. I have about 600 quarters right now in my quarter machine and I'd guess more than that in nickels in my nickel machine. I used to go to the bank each payday and buy $50 in change until I had enough to play it as much as I wanted to.
Title: Re: IGT S+ Double Blackjack Makeover...3300 error Post by: j$hort on November 28, 2011, 06:32:47 PM Ok, I will pop some coins in and give it a try. I am wondering what casinos seed their new machines with when placing on the floor...or what they used to do when coins were the norm (most on tickets now)...I'm guessing enough to pay out up to the attendant payout number...

I would gather that $1 is also a $500 fill. It explains what the errors mean, and how to resolve the error condition.

The probe detects when the hopper is full and then will divert coins to the overflow which would normally drop down into a bucket in the stand. For most home use, you can usually put the probe in the top hole regardless of how few coins you have in it. If it's set too low and you don't have a hole in your stand coins will start dropping into the bottom of your machine if it gets too full. Here is a chart that shows how many coins (coins not dollars) the hopper will hold depending on the probe location. So the max in quarters is about $762. Click on it to enlarge.

Seems to be running as normal now. The information that helped the most was the comment about the hopper not having to be completely empty to get error. Thanks much for this info.... I am closer to making this more presentable for the holiday gift...
