Title: 1.5 cpu board QL2003 chip Post by: squirrel on December 06, 2011, 05:04:32 AM I understand that this is the sound chip (U21) on the cpu 1.5 board. Does anyone know where to buy extra chips ? I bought a couple off of the internet but they didnt work after soldering them on.
Title: Re: 1.5 cpu board QL2003 chip Post by: channelmaniac on December 06, 2011, 12:57:29 PM A QL2003 is an FPGA chip (Flexible Programmable Gate Array) and MUST be programmed to do what you need it to do.
If you bought it from a chip vendor then you must have it programmed. The only source for a pre-programmed one would be the factory, if someone was able to copy it, or one that was desoldered from another of the same type of board. RJ |
