Title: Bally 6000 HP Error Post by: chita-poker on December 08, 2011, 03:26:01 PM Hi guys, my girlfriend touched either the cash/credit or change button on the slot machine in our living room. I had over 3000 credits. The machine says that over 400 credits, the winnings will be paid by an attendant. Now, it is making noise ("we're in the money" keeps playing) and the light on top is keeps flashing. How do I make it stop? It keep reading "HP" as the error. Thanks!
Title: Re: Bally 6000 HP Error Post by: cowboygames on December 08, 2011, 03:29:43 PM HP isn't an error code, it means hand pay. You need to turn the jackpot reset key to make it stop playing music and allow you to add credits to play again

Are they both barrel type or are they 2 different type keys? Do any fit switch on handle side? One opens the big door and the other opens the smaller door. There is another keyhole near the lever but it is in the shape of a regular keyhole- we were not given a key of this shape. Any suggestions?

Raz410 has some on his ebay Title: Re: Bally 6000 HP Error Post by: cowboygames on December 09, 2011, 12:20:15 AM If you're ok messing with wiring you can turn the machine off, unplug the wires from that key switch and run leads from each to the outside of the machine. Then turn the machine on, close the door and when the machine starts playing music again, touch the 2 wires together momentarily. Then turn the machine off and plug the wires back into the keyswitch.
