Title: Sigma b-9 Post by: CUDA3134 on December 16, 2011, 12:56:46 AM Trying to help a neighbor with a Sigma b-9 poker machine . Battery charges to 4.05 v found him a reset key, game comes up allows 5 coin in ,deals deck,lights hold buttons. And thats about as far as it goes . You can press the buttons all day long and nothing changes. I can see last game information using the key. Checked all connections still nothing . Any ideas or common problems / Thanks
Title: Re: Sigma b-9 Post by: Jim on December 16, 2011, 11:33:03 AM If the b-9 is anything like the b-52 then you could go into the diagnostic mode and test everything in the machine. there are three key switches on the side of the machine, the first is the reset, the second turns on the lamps to read the meters and the third is for last game replay. look for a button inside the machine that may have a decal stating that it is the test button. press that, that should get you into the test screens, there will be on screen instructions how to get through the menus.
you will be able to test the switches, lights, hopper, it will tell you the status of all the on board dip switches. the power supplies were mounted underneath the top of the cabinet, two of them one for +5 volts and the other +12vdc. have red light indicators on them. I closed the cicuIt and now I have a door message that will not clear no matter what I do .Acts loke the reset switch is not working even though I tested it and it works according to my meter.
