PLEASE DELETE YOUR OLD.....   :204- :204- Personal Messages: in your pm box.....  we are trying to down size the data table for the Mysql server and lighten the load on the server.... your old Personal Messages take a lot of data space in accessing your account ever time you reload a page...  

PLEASE KEEP THE MAX  Personal Messages: IN YOUR BOX DOWN TO 25 OR LESS....  :204- :204-

I just wiped out 297 messages again...lol

Mine had over 270 messages in it... It's now at zero.

Joey- Can you disable the automatic notification from the Arcade where it sends a PM when someone beats your score?  That should help somewhat to cut down on clutter in PM boxes.

I just did a complete purge of my in/outbox's.  Outbox was LOADED stuff back in '08--Shoulda put a good dent in used memory reclaimed!-- :270-.  B.

 :214-  For those who want to prune everything FAST, just click on the ... "prune messages" link. :25- :96-  It's the bottom link in the "Preferences" box on the left. It deletes ALL messages older than n days. The default is 14, but you can set it to more or less if you wish.

By all, I mean everything in both the inbox and outbox, as well as any messages you've moved to "folders" by creating "labels" and then adding the special label and removing the "inbox" or "outbox" label from the messages....  Okay, tell the truth: How many of you knew you could do that?  :96- :5- :72- :72-

Bunker's posts also seem to be over 1,000 short.
Knagl's count is off by about 400 or so, give or take.

I guess the post counts are a lot like the green counter at the bottom of each page –  large margins for error. :5-

I wiped 300 In-box posts from just the last 2 weeks alone...
I forgot to wipe out the Out-box...done!
It's amazing how much is posted behind the scenes huh?

I just did some spring cleaning and deleted all my personal messages.

I had a few months worth, maybe 40 or so.

Before deleting I saved them to my computer using a Firefox add-on that saves them to a maff file.

Just a heads up for others that wanted a way to save their messages but delete them off NLG to save space.
