Title: Bally E-1000 (e-1243-8) Not Registering Coin Post by: keviomi on December 22, 2011, 12:09:35 AM When I drop in a quarter it goes straight to the cash box, not registering the coin to play. With the door open and the two door switches (one built into the hinge and the other a micro switch on the handle side of the machine) rigged to close circuit, I cannot register a coin played by tripping the coin counter micro switch just below the coin mech. All fuses are good, all lights are on (except the upper section which has a missing bulb).

Welcome to NLG. How are you doing at getting your first slot machine up and running? Is that coin switch still not working? If you have the manual than I'd suggest you look at TEST #8. That will allow you to check out the machines general playing functions. Also TEST # 3 will allow you to see if the coin switch is infact working. Good luck and don't hesitate to post. Cheers, Mark |
