Title: Am I sick?
Post by: jdkmunch on January 17, 2009, 10:14:09 PM
OK OK First I have to thank archjds.  Today I drove 5 hours west and he drove 3 hours east and I picked up a mint S-Plus Haywire machine from him.  It was really very nice of him to do that for us.   I drove 3 hours back and right now I am in Mount Airy Casino.  I am here with my wife and we are having a great time.  The only problem is all I can think about is my new slot machine out tucked away in the car below!!!!   I think would rather be in my basement game room - with an old Bally 5500 and my new S-Plus than here!!  I think this could be a sign of sickness.

As soon as I set up the machine I will post some pics!

I think it is a sickness that is un-curable as my wife has told me many times.  Enjoy the rush as it will probably not go away if you are a true "slot-freak".   We all have the "sickness".  I think you are on the rite site for it.  :92-  Thanks B.

I know! I have it covered with a blanket nice and snug.   Well I just got back to the room $120.00 down.  But I did earn 4 points  :37-

I think I'll have better luck back at home  :89-

Night all.....

Yes, you are very very sick. Crate up all your machines and send them pre-paid freight to me at once

Well I just got back home.. and through the ice and snow I managed to get our new machine into our living room!  - I have to make a stand before it goes into the game room.   I have to say it is a spectacular looking slot.  It looks like it came straight from IGT.  Anyway I put in a $50 and have been playing it for over 3 hours!    -- All I need now is to get my wife to wear a nice short skirt and to come around asking for drink orders!

:3- Glad your happy with it!!!  I miss her already.  Now I have to figure out what to do with this empty hole in my wall of machines....it's saying something to me....something like "buy new machine...put here now!!"  :97-

Hey forgot to mention to you that the game chip is a 96% payout.  If you find it pays too often or not enough to your tastes there are a lot pros here on NLG of course that can help you out with a new game chip.

Have fun and let me know when you hit the Wild, Wild, Wild....darn it I never hit the jackpot on that machine.  :37-

I love the 96% payout!  - when my family comes over for slot tournaments I know which machine to play!!!

Thanks again - I'll post pictures as soon as I have placed properly in the room.

Actually if you want to do torunaments.... you can get tournament chips that play like regular chips, and then when set the game into torunament mode you can play either by time or by number of pulls.
In this case the game is played strictly on credits - no bills or coins needed. You just keep pulling or hitting the spin wheel until the counter expires. Highest score wins. In tournament mode the playback is like 1002%
I had Wild Cherry and Black Cherry, both games were the same but the glass is different so I setup 2 side by side.

What types of chips would be necessary?  Is it only the type that is important or the exact game?

There are only certain themes. I defer you to Ricks FAQs and subsequently the IGT game bible linked below this.
It has a list of the known Tournament games, and chip numbers.

What is the link?

The direct link is here: http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/
However if you Click on Ricks Faq's (Button on the home page) there is a ton of good info including the IGT online Bible.

Nobody ever reads FAQ's when they visit a website! :5- :5-  It's the same when we buy software.  If there's a file named "Readme FIRST.txt" on the DVD/CD it's always the LAST thing we read!  :96- It's a man thing.  :97- :97- :97- :97-
