Title: Old Bally 1213 Post by: gkulp on December 23, 2011, 06:01:19 PM Since I am getting close to having my recently purchased E-2090 up and running with a lot of help from you guys, I have a lead on the pictured Bally 1213. I would apprecaite any opinions. The owner told me the machine is not working. Powers up, accepts coins, but does not register the coins, so no handle pull. Does not look like here is a topper of any kind above the reels. Is this peculiar in any way? Any info, including value (what I should offer) would be well aprecaited. The 2090 is a quarter machine, and I would prefer a nickle machine. I thnk the 1213 is nickles. Wuld the manual I have for the 2090 be similar for the 1213? Thanks to all, and to all a Merry Christmas.

Did you buy this machine? A 5-liner would be cool I think. Nothing you described seems peculiar to me. As for value- its all in your view. If you like it offer him a couple hundred, if your not that craze about it than offer him less. I'm sure you'll have fun fixing it up. Your 2090 manual will be of some help but you'll want to get an E-1000 manual. Do you need an e-copy of one? I tried contacting the owner again after the Holidays with no response. I was interested in a nickle machine and the five line was a bonus. I appreciate the offer on the manual. I'll just have to keep my eyes open. You never know when one will become available. Thanks again, Greg |
