Title: enhanced sound/sound simm for a IGT Vision slot? Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on December 29, 2011, 02:53:58 AM I have a Red White And Blue Bonus Spin slot and was wondering if enhanced sound can be added to it with a multimedia board and a sound simm. If so, which sound simm will work with this game?
Thanks, David Title: Re: enhanced sound/sound simm for a IGT Vision slot? Post by: cowboygames on December 29, 2011, 03:11:47 AM Don't the vision games have the sound simm in the top box controller which then feeds into the MPU then up to the amp board and speakers?

The board inside does indeed have the room for the MMLB but, it's not enabled. I tried to enable it by hooking up a keyboard and mouse to the computer into going into the bios settings but for some reason - it likes the PCMCIA cards better. :96- It's just the way Visions are designed to be... The circuit board headers for the MMLB was just left there but not used. It's better just to have the right PCMCIA CF flash card installed into the top slot of the LCD computer. There are ways to change the sound bytes though....lotsa fun to do! :89- |
