Title: IGT - S2000 Low Battery Message Post by: John0813 on January 18, 2009, 01:24:49 PM When I turned on my Slot Machine, I received an error message that the Battery was low....I went into the processor board and found a round coin size Lithium Battery, Panasonic 3v, BR 2330 with plastic around the rim. (Pictured ..lower left)
Question... Can I replace just the battery or do I need the battery with legs and solder it on the board.... Title: Re: IGT - S2000 Low Battery Message Post by: idesign on January 18, 2009, 01:47:51 PM It's best to just replace the battery with the solder tabs on it. I'm sure a few of the vendors up top can supply what you need.

Does anyone know when you get an error like that, how do you know which one to replace? I replaced the green one on one of my boards because it was leaking. But that machine also wouldn't keep the time - so the battery was not working - but I never received any errors on the machine. Now that I replaced that battery, keeps the time just fine...
