Title: Bally e-1090-37
Post by: dongar69 on December 31, 2011, 03:49:27 PM
Hey guys,
Newby here,1st post, thanks for having me. I recently picked up a Bally e-1090-37 slot machine that did not work. I have
27 years as an electronic tech and performed some minor surgery to at least get it to power up. Replaced a chewed up power cord,
replaced several blown fuses, cleaned and lubed mechanical components, replaced all blown bulbs, inspected circuit boards and wiring for any obvious damage. Now it powers up ok but when inserting a coin, it drops through and does not register. That is about the extent of my slots knowledge. What I need is some direction and a schematic. Anyone feel like sharing?  Thanks again for having me.

Hello and  :238-...

Does your machine have the older style coin mech or the new style coin comparitor? Check the coin switch located under the coin mech, if the wire gets bent it will not count the coins... If possible post some pics of your project too, thats alway helpful...

Don't know of new or old comparator but here is the one I have. I dropped all denominations in and only quarters dropped to the coin switch.
