Title: Need help converting 3 reel to 4 reel Super Spin Stars bonus
Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on January 03, 2012, 03:57:58 AM
I am trying to swap from a regular 3 reel to the Super Stars Spin 4 reel bonus game and I am getting a "system error" code after switching SB chips. I am using 363s for my game 1&2 chips if that helps any. Also, I may not have my 4 reel shelf hooked uo correctly either, I am just going on memory from the last time I changed from a 3 reel to a 4 reel.

Thank,

David

just another note, I am also getting "game type not liked" message after "system error" message. Went through some posts and I am pretty sure all of my connections are correct, also have the two pin jumper on as well. Could it be the version chip that is causing the problem? I did try another working board and got the same results, so It almost has to be something with my software. The SB that I am using for the Super Stars Spin is SB101122, but in my notes I see that that same sb chip is also for a sizzling 7s. Is the sb101122 the correct sb for the Super Stars Spin?

Thanks,

David

I just found a set of those and tried them and that was it, thanks.

As far as the version chip I use, all I really want is for my display to show the actual money amount that I have in credits, so which version chip will I need for that? The game will be single denom of .25.

Thanks again,

David

Any Version chip ending with a zero will work for a single denomination game.
Any Version chip ending with a one will work for a multi denomination game.

I didn't know that Super Stars Spin and Super Spin Sizzling 7's were clones?
