Title: QUIET your PACHISLO machine / I found a switch inside the cabinet

 :37- :37- :37- Tired of my ears bleeding.. :5-...so I looked inside the cabinet of my PACHISLO and found a small 3 position switch which has ON  OFF  ON stamped on it. On my machine its located inside cabinet top front left side.(BLACK SWITCH IN PHOTO) top switch position is hi, middle is med and bottom switch position is low, IF YOU CAN HEAR ME.......... I HOPE THIS HELPS

On some machines this switch is not enough for comfort. If you do add a POT or volume control, this switch must be put back to the high or max volume position.

yes, the new skill stops could be deafening!!!  I acquired a bunch of Gamera full playfield LCD types, Spiderman 2 etc.  I had to install pots to cut the volume down.

There are some companies that sell a kit to accomplish cost is around 15-20 dollars after shipping. 

stealth amusements .com  in New York,   or Trademark Poker in Ohio  are two places that I know sell these.

I made my own, I talked to the techs there and they told me what type of  pots to use.  I found them at Radio Shack  they had 0-25 ohm at 5 watt.  I also got some from Parts Express, #023-604 -100 ohm linear taper wire wound potentiometer rated at 5 watts.  3.98 each
It did do a great job lowering the volume to an acceptable level.
