heres the problem i wanted to add new games to my gamemaker 7200 once i went thru the steps with the clear chip it would not recognize the new games only the old games that were already on the board. Wondering if its the clear chip thats not working with my board?? I dont really think thats the answer reason being i had one of my older games that i couldnt get to enable and once i ordered the clear chip and ran the directions it started to work. I spent a few hours trying to figure why the old games would load and not the new games? I have to order another clear chip now cuz i think i my friend ended up frying it putting it in backwards  can anyone help or has anyone had the same problem?

How did you do your clear?
If it worked with the games you had in then when you put new games it would ask
for clear chip which you would put in  10 slot & follow directions on screen.
If you were doing a complete clear don't forget to do the 7 & 8 dip switch.

I did that put chip in and reset 7 n 8 it still didnt recognize new games

Hang in there. When you get new chip you will get it working.

are your mains 2mb or 4mb

are your graphics chips 1mb or 2mb?

I would have to check are they labeled graphic n main?

are these the maiin and graphic chips do i need to upgrade? if so who sells them thanks in advance

What game names or smi #'s are you trying to put in. Your mains/graphics may not support. You can check your mains thru diagnostic menu "eprom checksum" . Will list mains at top and games below.

Mains smi's are m10000 and m40000 games are balligator prince of persia win pigs fly

Not much help with your main #'s in your post. Do the three games u listed use single or multiple eprom chips for game? Did u run eprom cksum?
the mains are listed under the bally logo and end with  -20  or -17, etc.

Mains are 5305-17 single chips

Click on home tab at upper left top of any NLG page. Far left and down at bottom of page, under "Top 50 Boards" and under "Bally Game Maker" a wealth of info.

most likely a game compatibility issue, i had to use older mains to make win pigs fly work.

Both of those mains should work. I use version 20. I have used version 23 also with no issues. I do not know about the graphic eproms, but the higher the number, prob better graphics. Maybe someone else can chime in here. azgamingslots is correct, when pigs fly can only be used whith certain mains(listed on mains link, above post.)  Price is right, i would buy one of each.

I have 23 mains

I didn't try win pigs fly

may take time, however try clearing then adding the new games one chip at a time.  -you may have one bad or incompatible chip that stops the rest of them.

Ive done that as well loading one game with ths older games still wont recognize i guess i have to try different mains and graphics

may be bad game chips -do they have original labels? did you get them from a reliable place?

Not sure bout the reliablity but i bought from 2 separate sources
