Title: V7000 monitor is black after installing new eproms. Post by: mrfunny on January 16, 2012, 11:03:02 PM :279-
I don't if anyone has had this issue before when installing new games. My BGM V7000 was working fine. I shut it down to install new games and put in the P-10 clear chip. After I slid the MPU board back in, I turned on the machine and the monitor was dark...no image and no messages. I thought I did everything correctly, but apparently not. Any help or direction you could point me to...would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Title: Re: V7000 monitor is black after installing new eproms. No bent or folded under legs on the chips? Title: Re: V7000 monitor is black after installing new eproms. Post by: mrfunny on January 16, 2012, 11:57:31 PM Yes. The notches are all facing the right direction and flush.

Then you can figure out from there if there's a problem with your new software, or if something got messed up (like a broken wire going to the monitor, or perhaps a broken monitor).
