Title: What SP chip works with this SS4786 reel chip? Post by: badbaud on January 18, 2012, 12:20:46 AM Tried everything we had and all I get is 62-1 error code. Is there a 10MHz SP chip that will work with the SS4786?

That requires a Type 0 SP chip. Gee...that's a very common SP Type...there are literally hundreds of SP chips that will work fine with that SS chip. However, I'd recommend an SP1271 or an SP1137 (Montana chip) What is the checksum of your SS chip? Could be corrupted? or a folded under leg or a bad socket receptor pin? I'll put it on the programmer and check the ckecksum tomorrow.
