Title: bally 5000 problem Post by: usnret on January 18, 2012, 04:36:49 PM I had approx 800 cridits on my machine and it was sitting on floor of my shop. I unpluged it and a friend helped me lift it up
to a cabinet. I then plugged it in and my friend by mistake hit the payout button and it started spitting out coins. I only have about 100 coins so it stopped and then I replaced the coins in the hopper but nothing happened. It reads an error code of 51 and 31. I checked the hopper but nothing appears to be wrong, no coin jam that I can see. I have done all the reset procedures to no avail. sometimes it reads code 51 and 45.
