Title: "Triple Lucky Sevens" belly glass modification! Post by: Yoeddy1 on January 23, 2012, 12:32:08 AM Hey guys,
When I bought my Triple Lucky Sevens kit a few months ago, I noticed that the transparent yellow color of the "Lucky" lettering on the top glass was very vibrant. However, after looking at "Lucky" letting on my belly glass, I noticed that it was also transparent, but it did not have any yellow color at all. Who knows if it was designed as such, or if it faded over the years. All I know is that it bugged the crap out of me. While out on my last casino outing, I was checking out several Triple Lucky Sevens machines, and all of the belly glass pieces appeared to be the same, so who knows what the real reason was for the missing yellow color. I'd be curious if those that also own this theme notice the same thing. Anyway, I ran to an office supply store and found some colored mylar page protectors, cut down one of the yellow ones, laid it over the "Lucky" lettering, taped the edges, and "presto!" Kinda hard to tell in the middle of the lettering where the lighting is at, but the top edge of the "L" and the "U", you can see the yellow fill.
