Title: mega touch help needed Post by: mike11 on January 24, 2012, 08:04:45 PM I have a table top mega touch that has always worked well, recently it was unplugged before being shut off and when repowered not the monitor has 1 inch verticle stripes in it. What can I do , what is the cause, thank you
Title: Re: mega touch help needed Post by: cowboygames on January 24, 2012, 08:15:23 PM loss of power while turned on wouldn't normally have an adverse effect on the machine unless the power flickered before going off, then you can damage stuff. Same thing if the power doesn't come back on cleanly. Have you tried unplugging and plugging back in? Pulling the plug is the same as turning the power switch off as far as machines are concerned.

(could be something else but caps is a good start IMO ) What Model MegaTouch do you have?...also what monitor?....this will help to diagnose common issues. A horizontal collapse would be a blank picture or possibly a white dot in the middle. If he's getting jail bars then he's got a whole differant problem, depends on if the bars are rolling or stationary
