Title: looking for information for Spectronics slot machines.
Post by: slotman357 on January 25, 2012, 03:51:13 PM
Spectronics - Valley Of Gold. My idiot helper stuck a screw driver in one of the burned out panel bulb sockets to remove the bulb and it shorted. It clicked in the back control box and went down. No fuses blown. On start up- reels try to spin briefly, clicks one time in the control box and shuts down. Just got this unit in and I know nothing about this one and can not find anything on it. It looks like it has a lot of Bally parts in it.

There has to be fuse somewhere that you don't see. Is all power gone or is there partial power ? Are there covers somewhere that may be blocking access to additional fuses ? Have you ever heard of a Gretcheon Columbia slot ?

I agree that something is blown. It sounds like a breaker on the board. Starts to power up fine then clicks and looses all power. I'm checking it out thouroughly this week end. Do not know of Gretcheon Columbia slot. Thanks for your response.
