Title: DSV00026 Sound SIMM Post by: Yoeddy1 on January 25, 2012, 07:55:46 PM For those that are curious about ALL of the sounds on the DSV00026, it might depend on your game.
Double Diamond Deluxe nudge type games may produce only one spin sound and of course the nudge sounds as shown below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB3f_HNW5SQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB3f_HNW5SQ) Triple Red Hot Sevens produces several spin sounds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR4IqqdYV4g (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR4IqqdYV4g) Enjoy! :3- Jason Title: Re: DSV00026 Sound SIMM Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 25, 2012, 08:17:45 PM That's great Yoeddy! :3-
I like that you're trying to find the extra sounds for the S2000 nudge games. Title: Re: DSV00026 Sound SIMM Post by: Tyler on March 09, 2012, 10:21:25 AM hey yoeddy what kind of MML board do you need for producing different spin sounds? a 1 or 2? I have a Triple Zesty Hot Peppers machine with only the default sound during gameplay and i was looking to put in a DSV00026 whenever i buy a MML/MML2 board

Title: Re: DSV00026 Sound SIMM Post by: Yoeddy1 on March 09, 2012, 01:04:41 PM Tyler, also depending on your base chip, that game might be limited to a DSV00042 SIMM. What's the number of your SB chip?

Usually the only SB's that allow different types of DSV SIMMs are those that are numbered accordingly: SB10000x (x being 1-9) Jason Title: Re: DSV00026 Sound SIMM Post by: stayouttadabunker on March 09, 2012, 10:44:52 PM Yeah, that SB will probably throw up an "incompatible SIMM" message. Usually the only SB's that allow different types of DSV SIMMs are those that are numbered accordingly: SB10000x (x being 1-9) Jason uh...are you saying that only the SB100000x chips from 1 through 9 play other DSV SIMM's? If that is true, then I must ask, how come the SB000421 Ms.Little Green Men chip allows me to play more than several different kinds of DSV and DSS SNDF SIMM cards? :129- Title: Re: DSV00026 Sound SIMM Post by: Yoeddy1 on March 09, 2012, 11:28:29 PM I'm speaking only about standard S2000's. Not sure what the behavior is with the Visions.

Okay! Thanks! :89- Well, I'll tell ya! The SB000421 uses any DSV SIMM card...it's a great DSV "tester"! Title: Re: DSV00026 Sound SIMM Post by: Tyler on March 10, 2012, 02:26:28 AM I guess you guys are saying my DSV00042 will only work on my Triple Zesty Hot Peppers instead of the DSV00026. My TZHP machine doesn't have a MML/MML2 board but my 5 reel Double Dollars has a MML with a DSV00082 which I got from Blue Ridge Slots installed. I guess the best bet is to buy a MML2 board and maybe the recommended SIMM

If you're using a DSV SIMM card, then you have a MMLBII !!! As far as I know, your MMLBII board is exactly like mine because I bought an DSV82 stick as well from Jim just last week for my DD Free Spin 5R9L45CM game. Your MMLBII board w/an DSV42 will fit fine on your TZHP MPU board.
