Title: ERROR Flashes "Insert Coin" & "Coins Played Window shows #2 Post by: brazoot on January 29, 2012, 10:13:56 PM Children (several) were playing the machine (IGT S+) last night. They "shingled" the coin acceptor. I unjammed the coin acceptor but am getting an alternating flash from "Insert Coins" to a #2 in the coins played window. I'm very rusty on how to get rid of this error. Thank You in advance if you can help. Regards......

All the machine is telling you is that it's ready to accept coins and the last time it was played - the player bet 2 credits. Throw some coins in and play a game. The kids (visitors) found my cigar box with different tokens in it. They kept feeding the coin slot with the "wrong" tokens and of course they dropped through without registering until they shingled the acceptor. I didn't know this and when I cleared the acceptor and tried to play the machine it did not accept a coin / token, I assumed it was an error condition. I sorted out the "wrong " tokens from the coin tray and all is well.
