He was taken to Rush Hospital in Chicago, Il. He is in the I.C.U At Rush pending results of M.R.I. test and surgery. I will advise of other developments.

If there is any good news is that it happened at work where it would be witnessed. Today's new medications for a witnessed stroke have very good results. The treatment for stroke where it was witnessed (as apposed to when one is sleeping) is different. A cocktail of drugs can be administered to a stroke victim withing an hour of the onset. This modern mix of drugs has very good results. Only the best wishes for a speedy recovery to Railroad 94 Please keep us posted. Buzz Tony had his surgery today, not so good. Surgery lasted about 2 hours and they sent off sample for lab work. Within a short period of time they discovered he had glioma, there are four kinds. Three of the kinds have cancer but all 4 are very aggressive and deadly. After the surgery one doctor reported this, some of us felt he was sugar coating on what he was telling us. The doctor stated with glioma it has a rapid regrowth cycle. Doctor stated further testing is needed on the sample to determine what kind of glioma it is. I'm sorry to say I might be losing a dearest brother...Mike. I've had the pleasure of speaking with Tony several times on the phone (although it has been a while) and he's a great guy who has helped many members here on NLG.
