there was an obvious problem with a broken track in the Player 2 button #2 that was repaired. after some burn in i looked at the INDIA stage (with Dalshim) and found that the 2nd elephant on the left had jailbars. scoped around with video probe to find that in a bunch of 74LS597 (parallel to serial shift reg) one was not giving out anything, replaced it and found also a LS157 (mux) wich was very hot (not sure if i fried it scoping around), the ic was replaced and the boards works ok Zab |
