Title: USPS a bit slow? Post by: Tyler on February 13, 2012, 11:33:01 PM Hey everyone.
Do you know anything about USPS? I live in Ontario, Canada and I ordered some reel strips from California. It was shipped via parcel post, no tracking number on Jan 28 and it haven't arrived since. I was wondering if you had the same experience with USPS. I'm pretty much a newbie to buying parts via the internet...and a newbie to USPS/Canada Post. :31- Title: Re: USPS a bit slow? Post by: kforeman on February 14, 2012, 12:13:59 AM i shipped something to a family member in Ontario once using the Express Mail box and it added a few days to what i would have expected; i think it was 5 or 6 business days total. with your package being parcel post it wouldn't surprise me if USPS takes a month! sorry for the bad news but you're pretty much stuck waiting since you don't have a tracking or confirmation number. good luck, i hope you get your reel strips tomorrow!! :50-

Post by: Tyler on February 14, 2012, 12:43:41 AM it must be stuck in customs. how do you track without a tracking number??? its complicated
Title: Re: USPS a bit slow? Post by: channelmaniac on February 14, 2012, 04:32:50 AM Get the Customs form number from the seller.
If they used the long form you can get a lot of information off of the USPS website. Just use the tracking feature off the website and put the customs form # in. If they usd the short form at least you can tell if the package was shipped. That's all it'll tell you. The customer will have that # on their receipt from the Post Office.
