Title: EM mod for bill validators Post by: OldReno on March 03, 2012, 04:13:32 AM Am looking for an old bill validator that I can retrofit onto my Bally EM. It doesn't have to be fancy.
My 742A modified is now a donation box of sorts for our local makerspace community tool shop. If I can get it to take bills, it will help with our monthly expenses as far as donations go for rent and power. I don't need it to verfy or escrow bills. I'm sure it could be set in test mode to take ANY bills, so that's no problem. Any JCM would work, in test mode, or even a Mars, but I don't know much about them. Nothing fancy, I just need a working head and transport. The EM can supply any necessary voltages. I can put a VReg from the 50V if needed to drop it down. All I need is a pulse for the coin in or handle release switch. One bill = one handle pull at max odds. Thanks Title: Re: EM mod for bill validators Post by: CVslots on March 13, 2012, 06:45:19 PM We'll send you one with the solenoid. Sorry for the delay. We'll ship it tomorrow. You'll have by the end of the week.
