Title: Monitor Zig Zag Lines Post by: danatlvc on March 04, 2012, 11:50:33 AM Hello, I have an IGT Video Poker Machine with a 15" CRT Monitor in it. It has a Great picture & colors. The only problem is when I start it up & the game screen pops up there are still very faint zig zag lines on the screen/very faint like the ones that appear when it is firing up. They go away after about 45 minutes. I have tried the monitor with a few other CERONIX 1492-H Chassis & still the same, so it's not the Chassis. On the yoke I did lose some of the ceramic clay on the back that goes between metal plates, but I wouldn't think that was it, but maybe??? Any suggestions/Newbie here?
Title: Re: Monitor Zig Zag Lines Post by: cowboygames on March 04, 2012, 12:16:08 PM If the problem stays with the CRT from chassis to chassis I would suspect a problem with the yoke itself. Have you tried swapping the yoke from another tube? Less likely would of course be some kind of short in the guns

I switched chassis & now the lines are gone in a few minutes? The chassis that was original in there, I put in my other machine & no zig zag trace lines at all when it fires up?
