Title: Atronic Emotion Screen height adjuster shorting out the hopper board Post by: Fourbyracer on March 08, 2012, 09:03:03 AM I bought my Atronic Emotion with a roasted hopper board in it. I have no hopper installed or coin mech but need the board because it controls the LCD screen adjuster buttons that adjust both screens higher and lower. The board is mounted to the back wall on the lower left. I installed a new board and the adjuster once again worked. That is until I got it to the top. Something shorted and burned out the board again and re-set the whole machine. Luckily the machine came back on and works but the board is definitely burned. Does anyone have experience with this problem and know what is causing what I assume is a huge power surge or short? I dont see any obvious wires that are chaffed and could contact metal. Any help is greatly appreciated!
