Title: Baccarat for PE+
Post by: Stolistic on March 12, 2012, 11:45:27 PM
I'm working on wrapping up some of these games I've created for the PE+ but decided to add another one to the pile!  :97-

Here is a screenshot of Baccarat for the PE+:

It is based on a commission-less baccarat sometimes known as EZ Baccarat.
In order to account for the missing banker commision there are 2 additional side bets for when the Banker has 7 (Dragon 7 = 40 to 1) or when the Player has 8 (Panda 8 = 25 to 1).

Anyways, the model was so close to my 3-card poker I figured I could knock it out quickly.  I have a bit more to go, but the basics are there.
You can bet on any combination or all 5 different wagers on the left.  Switching the arrow to highlight is done with the HOLD 1 button (on poker consoles).

I'll let you change the payout of the sidebets via the setup screens.

Feedback and comments welcome!

Very cool!

Can you build a "Game Rules" screen explaining to a novice player how the cards are dealt (ie. what determines if the player and/or banker gets an extra card, and how the payouts work)?

Yeah, great idea.  I'll just tie it to HOLD 5 or something.
