Well, one more Slot & Juke show under the belt... I have to say that in the 15 years plus, This is by far the worst show that I have been too :8- :8-. A ton of empty booths and great parking :3- :3-. Don't know if it was the economy, weather, or they knew we were coming :97- :97- . It was a mini meeting of the NLG group as there was only three of us, Kenokarz, Tilt, (Nice to meet ya Tilt) and myself, Macfog. As always the case, Keno was also making service calls after the show although we did manage to grab a bite to eat and play a few machines at Hollywood Casino in Joliet Il.

 :206- for some reason I can't post any pictures, I,m going to send them to Kenokarz and hope he can post them.

I live an hour or so from the show and am considering going tomorrow. Will it be worth it or from what I'm hearing on here sounds like it may be a waste of time?  Are there ever better deals on the last day?  I'm mostly interested in slots and/or parts.

Sorry that I wasn't able to attend the get together at Mc Donald's this year ( we just had a baby)....  Hopefully the turnout will be better at the fall show.   To Tom H.  ..... the Chicagolaand show doesn't have much in the way of slot machines at all.  If you're going to the show for that purpose; don't bother.   Your best bet is the meet before the show with fellow NLG'ers .  Dan's Games usually attends and offers deals aplenty.   There are also several trades and sales among members.... it's alot of fun and just nice to get together with everyone.  Perhaps before the next show; you could post about any parts and/ or machines that you're looking for.   Bill

Thanks Buzz.  Her name is Savannah Grace and she's 2 weeks old today. It's our 1st baby; so we're still in the learning stages so I wasn't able to make it to the show this time around.  Bill

The Mrs and I had a good time, and it was nice chatting with kenokarz, and Mr & Mrs macfog.  They had some beautiful jukeboxes there, but I don't need another hobby  :30-  Also some nice antique slot machines, but I only saw a few newer machines (S+ S2000).  All in all it was a fun time, and a good way to spend a weekend.  Hope to make another one soon, and see some more NLG members there.
