Title: CRT vs LCD in I game Post by: machfelon on March 14, 2012, 10:58:43 PM Working out a deal now on an I game but trying to decide if its worth the extra $$ for the LCD vs the casino CRT.
I know the LCD will probably look nicer but kinda wondering how reliable the crt monitors are in these igt i games. In my opinion, LCD’s are worth every penny. My IGame has a Wells-Gardner and I love it. It’s night and day as far as picture color and resolution compared to my old CRT. The other benefit is that you are not just buying the LCD monitor but you are getting a new touch screen with it. The touch screen on my CRT was kinda tricky sometimes and I had to push real hard on the screen but not a problem anymore with the replacement. I too have a Wells Gardner. Serious eye candy!
