Title: Using 27c512 chips for PE+ CG chips? Post by: knagl on January 26, 2009, 10:23:03 PM Is it possible to use 27c512 chips for the CG chips (MRO, MBO, MGO, MXO) when 27c256 chips are normally called for? I know it's possible to do an offset of some kind with the S+ to use larger chips in place of smaller chips -- was wondering if anyone had any experience with the PE+?

Some of the multi-poker (or maybe all of them?) require 512s for the CGs -- it's the solo games that call for 256s, but I'm thinking I can use 512s with the offset... All that said, has anyone successfully used 27c512 chips as CG chips when only 256 was called for? Title: Re: Using 27c512 chips for PE+ CG chips? Post by: 2Nutz on January 28, 2009, 02:42:55 AM Have not tried it but if I was so inclined would just cut & paste the 256k image twice to make a 512k and then burn to chip and see what happens.
