Title: So what are these machines worth? Post by: Phil847bally on April 01, 2012, 06:42:32 PM I have been a slot machine owner for just over 3 weeks and I am wondering what these machines, assume fully functional, are worth. Reading on the history of Bally, it seems that some of these machines are groundbreaking in the industry. My 1969 847 for example was the first with right and left payouts. Which ones are the most valuable? They seem to vary quite a lot from one model to the other, progressive, 3 reel,4 reel, 5 reel, multi line, multi coin etc. Not looking to sell but interested in more Bally EM history.

It's all a matter of supply and demand and the area of the country you live in. The best this to do is see what they are priced at in your area. I have come to find out that the taller the machine, like the Continentals the harder they are to sell. The shorter low boy styles seem to sell better because people think they take up less room. Maybe height wise yes, but they are no different in width or depth from low boy to Continentals?
