Title: Coin comparitor question
Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on April 01, 2012, 06:50:46 PM
Can I use a coin comparitor from an IGT S+ or a S2000 in a Bally 6000 machine?

Thanks,

David

Here is the page from the 6000 manual with the coin compaitors for the Bally 6000, is this what you are looking for?

S+ coin comparators are 24VAC - that's Volts Alternating Current.
They are fine to use in a Bally 5500 or Bally 6000.

An S2000 coin comparator is only 13VDC - and that's Volts Direct Current.
Sticking one of those in a Bally or S+ makes a faint sizzling sound or small "pop" sound
( not related to the Rolling Stone Billboard Top 100 either... :5- )
and produces a funny-smelling arid stink in the air within seconds...
