New to this site went through some of the treads. Here is what i have a Ballys gimme 5 slot machine. I took it to get repaired which is not close to where i live but they got it working great . Everything was working great and when i brought it home and everything was fine. I could only use the old bills and coins the following day the bill validate was accepting dollar bills and it stopped showing the green light. I closed the side cash box door and it started working again. Now suddenly again after quite a few bills it stopped and did the same but it would not show the green light to accept bills again. Called repair place and told me to check the switch at the bottom and insert card but it was working before as is but tried the card insertion to hold switch down and they also told me about the top switch but i told them the switch was on top but nothing connected to switch so they said disregard that switch but did it anyway. But it did not work, they told me to bring it in again and they would fix it. But i will not be able to take it right away. My question is anything i could do myself or something to look at so i can fix it myself. Thank you |
