Title: Converting a Double Dollars 5 reel game into a Double Diamond 5 reel game Post by: Tyler on April 10, 2012, 11:35:53 PM Hi everyone!
I was looking into converting an IGT round top progressive 5 reel Double Dollars machine into a 5 reel Double Diamond also with a round top progressive. Are the Double Diamond reel strips the same as the Double Dollars? Do I need a game chip and SB chip? I don't think I need the reel glass but i was thinking of changing the belly glass, round top award glass w/progressive and the reel strips. I need some expert advice. All you need to do is change out the reel strips, top and belly glass. But why bother? It's the same game, will play the same, other than looks.
