Title: IGT LED credit meter not working Post by: mcraigc02 on April 19, 2012, 12:26:09 AM first off ill start by saying I'm new at slots. my dad gave me a IGT 4th of July slot machine and when he gave it to me it didn't work i tinkered around with it and it would light up but wouldn't take quarters or play at all. i removed the board and replaced the back up battery today and replaced a fuse that was blown and now i can get it to take quarters and play it makes noise like it is adding credits when i win but the LED credit meters do not work(do not light up or anything). the bulbs in the unit work but it doesn't show credits. any ideas on what i should check?
Title: Re: IGT LED credit meter not working Post by: brianfink on April 24, 2012, 02:24:18 AM I would check the wires coming from the door and the molex conectors some times a pin can be pushed back and also check the wires going from the conectors to the board inside the box. also check all the plugs going into the mother board. you can also try to tweek the two plugs that plug into the bottom of the display.
